The two-seater base model will have a MSRP of $9995.00. Available options include Enhanced Range Supplemental Solar Power Package, 72 volt "Heavy Hauler" package, soft side weather enclosure, low rolling resistance tires, and a premium audio package. Additional options expect to be available at a later date. The following features will be standard on all 2012 UTEs.

• Four wheel hydraulic brakes with parking brake.
   
• A-arm front suspension.
   
• Coil over shocks on all four wheels.
   
• Rack and pinion steering.
   
• Fully welded aluminum rust proof frame.
   
• Heavy duty 8 HP (16 HP peak) 48 volt DC motor standard, 72 volt "Heavy Hauler" package optional.
   
• Heavy duty transaxle.
   
• Six 8 volt flooded electrolyte batteries are standard on the 48 volt model.
   
• Onboard charger included on all models, recharge from any standard 110 volt outlet.

As previously announced, the Utility Terrain Electric, "UTE" has been specifically designed for years of durable performance. The UTE is the first electric vehicle built using a high percentage of recycled materials, primarily recycled electronic waste.
